Dr. Helene Shapiro has been practicing dentistry since she graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Shapiro pursued her career in private group dental practice in New Jersey, where she gained pediatric and general dentistry experience before moving to Maryland. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Shapiro worked at nursing homes and assisted living communities, providing dental care to the elderly, where she gained extensive experience in extractions and prosthodontics.
Dr. Shapiro is well respected by colleagues because of her attention to detail and her rapport with her patients, treating all her patients like friends and family.
Dr. Shapiro believes her artistic abilities greatly aid her dental skills. She strives to make your dental experience as comfortable as possible with the latest technology and cutting-edge equipment.
When she is not practicing dentistry, her hobbies include cooking, biking, taking hikes, and attending live music. She lives with her husband and four kids, Lila, Avi, Zev, and Roey.
